THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET & TRIO Blowin' The Blues Away (1985 French issue of the 1959 7-track stereo LP, one of Horace's best efforts released during a key year in jazz, recorded by Van Gelder & including the rip-roaring title tune. Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Eugene Taylor & Louis Hayes all perform. Complete with the Blue Note Story inner, the picture sleeve is in partial open shrinkwrap & the vinyl is Excellent with the odd light sign of play BST84017)
