JOHN COLTRANE Soultrane (1984 Japanese white label promo sample issue of the 1958 5-track mono vinyl LP, one of Trane's personal favourites, with Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Arthur Taylor, recorded for Prestige shortly after his classic Blue Train on Blue Note. The picture sleeve replicates the original artwork and Ira Gitler's notes with the first "sheets of sound" reference, complete with fold-out Japanese text/Prestige catalogue inner and 'Jazz Golden 50' obi-strip VIJ-201)
