THE WATERSONS with MARTIN CARTHY For Pence And Spicy Ale (1975 UK 14-track LP, featuring a selection of traditional songs & melodies. The narratives for each of the songs are listed on the back cover, alongside a picture of the band in a placethat was once known as a Traditional 'Pub' [sadly now an endangered species], with not a drop of lager in sight. We were a simple folk then, of simple pleasures, but we were happy & content in that era before 'Sports Bars' & Wine Bars. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains near 'as new' with few signs of play 12TS265)
