This Charming Man - Autographed

THE SMITHS This Charming Man (Scarce original 1983 1st pressing UK Rough Trade label FULLY AUTOGRAPHED 2-track 7" vinyl single, also including 'Jeane'. Signed across the front cover in black marker pen by Johnny Marr, Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce with Morrissey signing in his distinct uppercase style autograph in gold pen! The band must have been feeling particularly artistic with this one as not only are the signatures bold and clear but beautifully composed across the cover! This version of the single was quickly replaced as Morrissey insisted on a push out centre and this edition had a solid centre, it also displays the all important 'Glad Hips Music Limited' credit on the reverse cover denoting it is a first issue. Housed in the familiar 'The Smiths' titled glossy picture sleeve depicting Jean Marais from Cocteau's film 'ORPHEE' - Very rare fully signed copy in MINT condition! RT136)
