ART PEPPER Ralph Gleason's Jazz Casual (2001 Spanish 30 minute black and white PAL VHS video featuring a rare TV performance that Art gave on May 9th 1964, with Frank Strazzeri on Piano, Hersch Hamel on Bass & Bill Goodwin on Drums. A chance capture of Art at one of the few times he would be available for most of the next ten years and a showcase of what an incredible talent was silenced by circumstance, only to be re-born like a Phoenix, with incredible fire, passion & beauty, from the mid seventies until his sad death in 1982. A rare chance to catch this legendary performer at his best, live & blowing Alto like only Art Pepper could IVHS217)
