BLUE NOTES The Ogun Collection (2008 UK 26-track five CD set collecting together the various recordings of the band for the Ogun label, from their origins live in South Africa in 1964 to their last album, recorded in 1987 as a tribute to foundermember Johnny Mbizo Dyani. The collection consists of basically the four albums 'Legacy', 'For Mongezi', 'In Concert' & 'For Johnny', expanded with many more previously unissued selections. Complete with a twenty page illustrated booklet, eachCD is housed in its own gatefold card wallet picture sleeve, with everything held in a picture slipcase box OGCD024-028)
