BROTHERHOOD OF BREATH Chris McGregor's Brotherhood Of Breath (In demand original 1971 UK Neon label 6-track stereo LP, a jaw-dropping mixture of African music, jazz-rock, and free improvisation effortlessly blended together, proving the Britscould easily outmanoeuvre their American peers for progressive new ideas in jazz. Produced by Joe Boyd and starring Alan Skidmore, Mike Osborne, John Surman among others. The gatefold sleeve was never laminated and as such has shelf wear mostnoticeable around the edges (VG). The vinyl however remains in excellent shape. Recommended for fans of Sun Ra, Miles Davis' electric years and beyond NE2)
