VARIOUS The Golden Age Of Female Voice (1987 UK 16-track compilation LP featuring those Starlets that fell between the 'Flapper' age & the Big Band Era and carved out their own niche as female vocalists in films, theatre & music hall. This compilation includes tracks by Frances Langford, Evelyn Laye, Cicely Courtneidge, Binnie Hale, Jessie Matthews, Gracie Fields & more, mostly recorded in the thirties, picture sleeve. Both sleeve & vinyl are in wonderful near 'as new' condition GX2553)
