SAMHAIN Initium (Rare 1989 US Third Pressing 10-track vinyl LP, with picture sleeve. Originally released in 1984, and was the first thing Glenn Danzig would do after his Departure from horror punk icons The Misfits. Samhains style was slightly more in the vein of heavy rock rather than punk, with a darker lyrical content as opposed to the B-Movie style of The Misfits. Classic tracks include Black Dream, Horror Biz, and the single Archangel. There are also guest appearances from Lyle Preslar of DC hardcore band Minor Threat, and Al Pike from Reagan Youth. The sleeve displays only a little light wear mostly to the edges, and the vinyl has only a few light surface scuffs to indicate play, on the whole this is an all round excellent condition copy of this hard to find gem from the Danzig legacy PL904)
