THE ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA with ANGELA RIPPON conducted by OWAIN ARWEL HUGHES Peter And The Wolf / The Carnival Of The Animals (1977 UK 15-track LP, issued to raise money for the Save The Children charity & pressed in Germany as a 'Supercut' audiophile LP, also featuring pianists Anthony Goldstone & Ian Brown. The first side is devoted to the familiar Prokofiev piece, narrated by the former Newsreader Angela, with the second side given over to Saint-Saëns' Carnival, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl is flawless - a nice copy K53553)
