NOCTURNUS The Key (1990 UK 9-track LP on regular Black Vinyl, the insane debut by the Florida pioneers of ultra fast Sci-Fi Progressive Death Metal. The Key was a concept album following the story of a Cyborg going back in time to the year 0 B.C., leading to the destruction of Christianity [highlighted by the controversial 'Destroying The Manger'!] & the creation of a modern empire. Includes upfront Keyboards in the mix, which was unheard of in Death Metal at the time. The picture sleeve, complete with the illustrated lyric insert, grades Excellent, with a little scuffing around the edges & the vinyl is Excellent with very few signs of play. Recommended MOSH23)
