GUNS N ROSES Appetite For Destruction (1987 UK 12-track LP, pressed in Germany for the UK market. The debut studio album by the American hard rock band produced by Mike Clink, including the singles Sweet Child O' Mine, Welcome To The Jungle, Nightrain and Paradise City, original picture sleeve featuring the withdrawn artwork plus the lyric inner sleeve.
As a bonus this copy also comes with the alternative replacement skull/cross artwork and inner sleeve & bonus scull sticker. Ideal to have both sleeve designs displayed together. Please see more Additional Info:)

Artwork
The album's original cover art, based on Robert Williams' painting "Appetite for Destruction", depicted a robotic rapist about to be punished by a metal avenger. After several music retailers refused to stock the album, the label compromised and put the controversial cover art inside, replacing it with an image depicting a cross and skulls of the five band members, designed by Billy White Jr. originally as a tattoo. Each skull representing one member of the band: Izzy Stradlin [top skull], Steven Adler [left skull], Axl Rose [center skull], Duff McKagan [right skull] and Slash [bottom skull].

Condition
The withdrawn sleeve shows only a few light signs of age and the inner sleeve is immaculate.

The alternative 'cross' sleeve has two hype stickers on the front which the withdrawn sleeve doesn't, this sleeve also has light crease mark at the top but is otherwise superb without any tears.

The vinyl looks to have been played only a couple of times and is still in a near 'as new' condition.
