ORIGINAL CAST RECORDING Blackbirds Of 1928 (1968 US 13-track mono LP featuring Adelaide Hall & Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson from the orginal Broadway cast of the Lew Leslie production, compiled from recordings previously only available on rare 78s, starring Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, The Mills Brothers, Cecil Mack Choir, Don Redman & Ethel Waters, all performing the music of Jimmy McHugh with the lyrics of Dorothy Fields, pasted gatefold picture sleeve with extensive sleeve notes inside. The sleeve shows some creasing at the corners & a little light shelfwear but the vinyl remains excellent, showing few signs of play OL6770)
