THE QUINTET Charles Mingus Presents The Quintet Of The Year (Wonderful 1956 UK 6-track deep groove mono vinyl LP on Vogue, recorded live at Massey Hall, Toronto on May 15th, 1953 with the greatest collection of jazz musicians ever assembled onone stage at the time - Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Charles Mingus & Max Roach. This early UK edition is housed in a beautiful & unique fully laminated flipback sleeve. The sleeve shows little light wear but is otherwise excellent. The heavyweight vinyl is clean & reveals just light signs of play LAE12031)
