BILL HALEY & THE COMETS Rock Around The Clock (Classic first issue 1957 UK 12-track mono LP on a black & silver Brunswick label, fully laminated sleeve with scalloped flipbacks. Of course, Bill Haley was playing rock & roll before anyone evenknew what it was, launching the style that paved the way for every other rock & roll singer, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly & Chuck Berry. He was also the first rock singer to tour Europe & score hits there! There is some light discolouring & wear to the laminate over time but otherwise the sleeve remains a nice VG example. The heavyweight vinyl plays excellent despite a few light cosmetic marks LAT8117)
