BILL EVANS TRIO Sunday At The Village Vanguard (Ultra scarce & limited 2002 German 10-track stereo gold Hybrid dual layer SA-CD [Super Audio CD - playable on all SACD and CD players], the greatest sounding CD issue of this masterpiece out there, recorded live on June 25th, 1961, complete with four bonus alternate takes. This was the final performance by the Trio of Evans, bassist Scott LaFaro & drummer Paul Motian [LaFaro was lost to a tragic car accident just 10 days later], &one of Scott's very best dates.
