FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS Florence Foster Jenkins EP (1959 UK 4-track 7" vinyl EP with intact four prong centre & 'Factory Sample' stickered label, featuring four of the nine recordings known to exist at the time, including the Aria from 'Queen Of The Night', Biassy, Adele's Laughing Song & Like A Bird, fully laminated picture sleeve. This most extraordinary soprano was probably the Glam Syd Barrett of Opera, giving mainly an annual performance in New York & throwing flowers into the audience while dressing in wings and tinsel. Her eccentric performances, unusual interpretations of pronunciation, pitch & rhythm made her quite a celebrity of the time.
