JOHN BARRY Country Style (Rare 1980 UK 13-track stereo LP recorded at tiny Spaceward Studios in Cambridge, produced & engineered by Gary Lucas, front laminated picture sleeve. What sets this album apart from the crowd is the sheer quality of the backing band. Kimberley Rew & Alex Cooper from The Waves supply guitar & drums, Roger Jackson [later of The Egyptians] is on keyboards, Warne Livesey on bass & Grahame Lister [of Star Trekkin' & The Firm fame] on Pedal Steel. From this youwill gather that this is fairly well amplified Country album with a suitably scary cast. Not many people know that this exists, but it is in fact John Barry's second LP release. This copy shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains near 'as new' with few signs of play TADO5009)
