VARIOUS The Country Blues (Incredible 1959 US 14-track mono LP on a brown & beige Record, Book & Film Sales label, the first release on the label, compiled by Samuel B. Charters & designed as a companion piece to his book of the same name. This compilation contains some astonishing collector's Blues recordings by the likes of Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Johnson, Washboard Sam & more, housed in a heavy duty pasted & textured sleeve with annotated four-page booklet of extensive notes.The sleeve is so strong there are no splits or wear with age & the vinyl remains in Excellent condition with minimal play RF1)
