LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS Blues In My Bottle (Dazzling 1962 first US issue 11-track mono LP, on a deep groove blue & silver label with '203 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield NJ' address & 'RVG' [Rudy Van Gelder] machine stamped in the run-outs. Captivating real-deal blues straight out of Houston, Texas, where Lightnin' handles the bass, rhythm, lead, percussion & vocals from one stool, including spine-tingling gems like 'Death Bells' & 'Jailhouse Blues'. The pasted laminate sleeve appears near mint. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & is in VG+/EX- condition with just a few minor hairlines not affecting play. Recommended)
