Ode To The End Of The War / Symphony No. 2 in D Minor

BBC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by GENNADI ROZHDESTVENSKY Ode To The End Of The War / Symphony No. 2 in D Minor (1978 UK double sided metal based high grade methyl cellulose acetate of the performance recorded for Broadcast on Wednesday October 1st that year. This was Rozhdestvensky's first broadcast as the conductor of the BBC Stmphony Orchestra and also the first performance of Ode To The End Of The War in the West. Obtained from a long time industry industry executive & Director of NEMS, this acetate remains in very nice condition indeed, looking almost brand new. The sleeve is hand annotated with the broadcast details but I have not been able to ascertain whether this performance ever saw a full release)
