MIKE COOPER The Machine Gun Co. With Mike Cooper (1972 UK 5-track LP, on the purple Dawn label. A departure from the folk Americana of Cooper's previous efforts, Cooper & his Machine Gun band, a name that suggests both an influence in Jimi Hendrix & Peter Brotzmann's free-jazz group, explores music's outer regions [only the brave need apply!]. The matte picture sleeve is Excellent with some minor scuffing & the odd spot of foxing on the back whilst the vinyl appears barely played DNLS3031)
