LAVERN BAKER Blues Ballads ('60s US 12-track vinyl LP on the 'plum & red' Atlantic label, originally released in 1958, heavyweight picture sleeve. Before she became a successful rock & roll vocalist, Lavern Baker did straight jazz and raw blues and that's just what you get here; gritty, unpolished, and sung with the intensity and energy that made Baker's later material so memorable. The sleeve is in superb condition showing very little wear and the vinyl too is incredible with verylittle signs of play)
