BIG JOE WILLIAMS Piney Woods Blues (1964 UK 12-track vinyl LP, fully laminated picture sleeve with detailed liner notes on the reverse. This mid-'60s release showcases Big Joe's unique take on the blues, playing raw, primal vignettes on a battered guitar which he had tampered with to add additional strings - he played a nine-string! The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear and remains fully intact with all text clearly legible,whilst the vinyl has just the odd light scuff/hairline whichdo not greatly affect play - a more than acceptable copy of this rare blues LP LA1219)
