GIL EVANS Where Flamingos Fly (1981 Japanese promotional sample 6-track LP with custom black on white labels & 'Demonstration' Japanese print, featuring songs from 1971. This album features a selection recorded shortly after Gil decided to puttogether a permanent big band & showcase ten or fifteen members including saxophonists Billy Harper and Howard Johnson, Airto Moreira on Percussion, Lenny White on Drums, Don Preston on Synths & Flora Purim on Vocals, complete with Japanese insert and picture sleeve. The sleeve shows edgewear with an area of paper loss to the front, however the vinyl appears barely played K26P6127)
