V.S.O.P. The Quintet (Rare Test Pressing for the 1977 UK 8-track double LP recorded live at The Greek Theatre & San Diego Civic Centre in California in July 1977 & featuring the stellar quintet of Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Shorter & Tony Williams. The labels are plain white & annotated with just the side detail & the correct matrix detail is etched in the run-outs. Both records are housed in plain white card sleeves which are stickered & annotated with all the tracklist & recording date details. There can be very few of these in existence, produced only by the studio engineers to test the sonics, never to be sold to the general public. The vinyl discs are Excellent with minimal sign of play)
