ELTON JOHN Empty Sky (Extremely Rare 1969 Japanese promotional sample 9-track LP, pressed exclusively on Wine Red Vinyl. We consider this to be the rarest Japanese Elton John LP out there. Stock copies forthis release did not appear on red vinyl. Also, this elusive promo edition never came with an insert or obi-strip & was pressed in very low numbers. The labels are custom black on white & the vinyl is housed in a deluxe gatefold textured picture sleeve. The sleeve grades Excellent with only some mild shelf wear with age & the vinyl appears Near Mint. On close inspection, the vinyl appears to have never seen a turntable, & under a bright light there is only one very faint hairline on the first track which does not affect play.
