BEE GEES Odessa (Rare 2008 Test Pressing for the Limited Edition US Rhino exclusive 17-track double LP pressed on Premium Quality 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI, originally released in 1969. The album was faithfully restored from the original analogue masters & this test version came a year before the actual release, sounding better than ever or any other release for that matter. The labels are custom blue on white & issued by RTI Record Technology with rubber stamped catalogue number, side detail & matching plain white sleeve. The proposed 'December 19 2008' release date is also stamped on the labels & sleeves. These ultra rare test discs were produced in tiny numbers for sonic evaluation & never intended for sale to the public. These would normally attract a far higher sum, & although the discs appear Near Mint, there are a few audible blips pointed out by the engineer on the back of the sleeves such as 'pops during First Of May' & 'a little covered EQ wise' etc. This is the nature of test discs & is reflected in our final asking price)
