KING TUBBY meets THE UPSETTER At The Grass Roots Of Dub (1974 UK first issue 10-track vinyl LP on the black & white Fay Music label owned by Winston Edwards. A pioneering slab of early, heavy dub instrumental in establishing the genre in the UK. The picture sleeve shows the consoles used by King Tubby and The Upsetter, giving an additional thrill to lovers of vintage audio equipment! The sleeve shows some light discoloration and ring/shelfwear, the vinyl is an amazing Near Mint. For an album of this genre to be in such condition is astounding, given how many would have suffered during late night sessions and DJ sets. Essential FMLP304)
