ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK 2001: A Space Odyssey (Original 1968 US first issue yin-yang MGM label 8-track stereo vinyl LP featuring the classic soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece, with expert ambient use of Ligeti's weightless & hovering tonal compositions such as the beautiful Atmospheres. The pasted gatefold picture sleeve has images from the film along with sleevenotes across the inner spread and displays a little colour fading due to age and has a 2.5" seam split to the bottom of the back pocket remaining in VG+ condition, whilst apart from a few light surface scuffs, the vinyl appears otherwise excellent. This is the FIRST copy of the original US pressing we've seen! S1E-13ST)
