HARVEY MANDEL Cristo Redentor (1968 first UK issue 10-track stereo LP on the black & silver Philips label, the debut album by the psychedelic blues guitarist, who chalked up playing for Canned Heat, The Rolling Stones & John Mayall on his resume. Includes a mind bending version of Wade In The Water plus the Donald Byrd title track, fully laminated psychedelic picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a few light laminate creases at the edges with little other wear and the vinyl has a hairline mark across the first four tracks on side one which has little impact on play leaving it VG. A Psych classic with wonderful early use of the reverse tape guitar effect! SBL7873)
