Meet The Beatles - 1st

THE BEATLES Meet The Beatles (Rare 1964 US first press 12-track mono LP, the earliest West Coast label design to list the performance rights with eleven 'ASCAP' credits & one 'BMI' song credit for 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'. The thick card pasted picture sleeve has the band name in olive brown, no 'George Martin' credit & is printed with the number '6' bottom right & the 'Scranton PA - Los Angeles' manufacturing address. The cover is still in open shrink with the breather holes & there are no deletion cuts or markings. Complete with the original Capitol catalogue inner, the sleeve has nice clean panels & there is a faint crease in the bottom left corner. The vinyl is in lovely Excellent condition with a deep sheen both sides & very few signs of play. Recommended T2047)
