PAUL DESMOND Pure Gold Jazz (1978 US repackaging of the 1962 9-track stereo LP formerly entitled 'Desmond Blue', arranged & conducted by Bob Prince & starring Jim Hall on guitar. Not quite up there with Charlie Parker's 'With Strings' but still essential. The pasted picture sleeve [VG+] shows paper scuffing on the spine & the vinyl still looks barely played)
