BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN The River (Super Rare 1980 UK 9-track LP Test Pressing for Side Two only of the double album [C1-C5/ D1-D4], starting with 'Point Blank' & ending on 'Wreck On The Highway'. The labels are plain white & the run-out grooves have the following etchings: '84634 A1 CBS S 88510 C1/ 84623 B1 CBS S 88510 D1'. The label is custom stickered one side with a small piece of printed paper reading '(P) 1980 Original sound recording made by Bruce Springsteen, CBS Records are the exclusive licensees for the U.K.' Housed in a plain die-cut card sleeve, the vinyl grades VG/VG- with several light cosmetic marks & paper hairline scuffs either side. The vinyl plays through with no jumps & a little light background surface. Although the first disc is now long gone, this remains a very tough find as only a few of these early review copies were pressed in the first place, purely to test the sonics & never to be sold to the general public.
