APHRODITE'S CHILD 666 (1973 UK 'spaceship' label 24-track double LP, combining Psychedelia, Prog Rock & biblical passages from John 13-18. Vangelis has stated that the album was apparently created under the influence of Sahlep, a Turkish flour consumed in beverages or deserts. This, coupled with its 'Number Of The Beast' album title, was misinterpreted by fundamentalist Christians as perhaps a drug, a demon, or even a black magic sect! The front laminated gatefold sleeve [VG+] shows some light ring wear ageing [half inch tear to an inside opening edge] & the vinyl is clean & grades EX/EX- with a few faint paper hairlines not upsetting play)
