DOROTHY ASHBY The Fantastic Jazz Harp Of Dorothy Ashby (1965 UK 10-track deep groove STEREO LP - sublime meditations & beats with closely mic'ed string harp work from Dorothy to the fore, with backing from bassist Richard Davis, drummer GradyTate, percussionist Willie Bobo & a sporadic horn section - pure magic! Dorothy would later go one better in her career, belting out funky rare groove favourites like 'Soul Vibrations' & 'The Moving Finger'. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve is Excellent with nice, clean panels & just a spot of faint ring wear whilst the vinyl is Near Mint with very few signs of any play SAL5047)
