LEE MORGAN City Lights (2000's US 5-track LP, signed to Blue Note when he was only 18 years old, this jazz prodigy, who cut his teeth as a Jazz Messenger with the great Art Blakey, proceeded to record a stream of impressive records as a bandleader. At the ripe old age of 19, Morgan helmed these sessions in August 1957 at Rudy Van Gelder’s Hackensack studio, producing a classic of 50s modern jazz! The sleeve shows a little shelf/ringwear whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play)
