MIKEY DREAD Dread At The Controls (Feel it in your heart & soul! 1984 UK powder blue label issue of the classic debut 1979 8-track vinyl LP on Trojan by the seminal roots Rasta DJ, with the album named after his then-radio show. This is the album prior to the dub version, with Mikey on vocals backed by a kaleidoscope of Jamaican stars including Sly & Robbie, Augustus Pablo, studio wizardry from the likes of Ernest Hookim, Errol Thompson & Prince Jammy, all overseen by King Tubby,the list goes on! Filled with throbmungus bass & snappy, high-stepping rhythms. The sleeve shows some minimal creasing and edgewear whilst the vinyl looks in excellent shapeTRLS178)
