Five Long Years

EDDIE BOYD Five Long Years (1980 German 12-track vinyl LP reissue of the 1966 album with alternative art. Wonderful set cut while he was in the midst of the 1965 American Folk Blues Festival tour of Europe. Mike Vernon [Blue Horizon] teamed Boyd up with guitarist Buddy Guy, bassist Jimmie Lee Robinson, and drummer Fred Below for an inspired run-through of many Boyd classics; "I'm Comin' Home," "24 Hours," "Five Long Years". The sleeve shows minor shelfwear and the vinyl is in excellent condition displaying some very light cosmetic scuffs which do not impact play FJL.905)
