CHARLIE PARKER Charlie Parker Big Band (Very rare 1954 US
10-track LP on a deep groove black Clef 'Trumpeter' label, pasted
picture sleeve with sleeve notes by Norman Granz & tape reinforced
bottom seam. As can be expected after over sixty years, the sleeve
does show a degree of shelfwear, with a split to the top seam and
edge scuffing but far less than you would expect. The vinyl too shows
several scuffs and surface hairlines but none deep enough to affect
play and it plays through without fault although a degree of
background noise should be expected. An acceptable, if not mint, copy
of this very rare album at an advantageous price MGC-609)
