JOHNNY HALLYDAY Sings America's Rockin' Hits (Extremely rare 1962 UK 12-track LP, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. We had to play grade this one, as it comes under the heading of 'wrecked but rare'. The sleeve is intact, free from any writing & untorn, although it does display a fair bit of edge scuffing, a little discolouration to the unlaminated back & some laminate creasing. The vinyl visually is quite startling as it displays several surface marks on either side and looks to be FAIR at best. Upon playtesting, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it plays through without fault on both sides with far less surface noise than would be expected & no skips or jumps. There is no serious 'burring' to the sound either, so sonically this moves up into the VG- bracket. Whilst far from mint, this is nonetheless a respectable copy of this rare album that would set you back at least three figures in much better condition than this. It's obviously been 'well loved' in the past & needs a new home, so can be yours for an advantageous price! BBL7556) more...
