laminated picture sleeve. Hard to find EP from the Manfred's
that includes I Can't Believe What You Say, That's All I Ever

MANFRED MANN Instrumental Asylum (1966 UK solid centre 4-track
7" mono EP, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. This is one of the
Manfred's top collectibles as it sold in tiny quantities at the time, which
is a shame, as alongside the self penned Still I'm Sad it also contains
some great versions of My Generation [The Who], I Can't Get No
Satisfaction [Rolling Stones] & I Got You Babe [Sonny & Cher]. Also of
note is that it features the talents of Jack Bruce who left after this
release to join Cream with Ginger Baker & Eric Clapton. The cover
shows very little of its age with the reverse a wonderful off-white and
the vinyl appears barely played - a fantastic copy with no need for
upgrading 7EG8949)

MANFRED MANN Mann Made (1965 first US press 13-track
stereo LP on the black Ascot label, featuring the same tracks
& sequence as the UK version. Includes a storming version of
T-Bone Walker's 'Stormy Monday', a Hammond-led cover of
Robert Parker's 'Watch Your Step' & Tom McGuiness' own
'LSD' track. The pasted picture sleeve has no deletion cuts &
reveals merely the lightest spot of original sticker residue to
a corner. The cover has remained in open shrink since the
day it was re-shrinked, possibly in the early seventies, as
there is a vintage 'Licorice Pizza' dollar price sticker still
attached. This has kept the sleeve Near Mint. The vinyl is
Excellent to Near Mint with barely a hint of play & just a
couple of very minor paper scuffs to highlight handling.

MANFRED MANN As Is (1966 UK black & silver label 12-track mono
LP, housed in a front laminated flipback sleeve featuring the image of
the band standing in different alcoves. The cover has some paper loss
& splitting at the far reaching corners & the odd chipping to the
laminate around the edges, with all text clearly legible, despite foxing
to the unlaminated back. The colours remain rich & vivid & the sleeve
is a nice VG- regardless. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned &
plays beautifully. Visually speaking, there are signs of cosmetic
reaction to the disc's past inner sleeve, but these blemishes do not
effect play on a mono playback setting. By no means mint, this is still
a very serviceable VG-/VG- example TL5377)

MANFRED MANN Ha! Ha! Said The Clown (Original 1967 South
African 7" vinyl single on the black & silver Fontana label with an
intact triangular three prong centre, also including Feeling So
Good, with a unique pink & white title wrap-around sleeve. The
interesting thing about this pressing is the catalogue number
which is TF787, in the UK this was given to a single released by
The Remo Four whilst the actual United Kingdom release for this
song was TF812. The sleeve has some minor wearwith a small
amount of paper loss and a previous owners name written on
the front, whilst the vinyl is very good with a few surface marks
but plays without any issues and still sounds excellent. Although
not mint this is still a respectable example and the first we have
ever seen )
