STAN GETZ The Stan Getz Quartet (1960 UK 8" x 10" twenty page
'Souvenir Brochure' for his concerts in the UK, which would have cost
you the princely sum of two shillings and sixpence at the time, which
would have been the price of two pints of beer. The brochure is in
fantastic near 'as new' condition, with an extensive narrative by Benny
Green on the history of the Saxophone, its importance to Jazz & where
Stan Getz fits into that history. A fascinating read in itself & much
better than the big glossy page after page of cheap photographs that
seem to fill tour programmes today. With such a hefty investment
involved, the content HAD to be good, and it is. A beauty!)
