THE BEATLES Revolver (Rare 1966 UK first issue 14-track stereo LP, in the original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated sleeve with rounded flipbacks & 'Patents applied for' paper inner. The sleeve is graded VG with slight scuffing to the flipbacks, pinches to spine with the beginnings of laminate lift to top corner. The vinyl is strictly graded VG with spindle marks and some minor spindlewear to the label (small 'MIKE' handwritten name, black ink on black to Side 1), the playing surface shows a few hairlines/scuffs, mostly to Love You To and Tomorrow Never Knows, although after playback these are pretty much undetectable. The 'KT' tax code is also clearly visible on the label & this edition features the 'Dr. Robert' credit spelling on both label & sleeve. Not Mint, but still a rather desirable Stereo 1st issue copy! The Side One matrix is XEX 579-1, confirming that this is the rare LOUD CUT variant, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some general edgwear and creasing, as well as some light foxing marks to the back but is still in Very Good condition for its many years. The vinyl grades Good, as there are some notable surface hairlines and a deeper hairline mark on side 2, however through play only a slight pop can be heard on the track 'Girl', as well as some light crackle. A rare and lesser seen variant of this acclaimed 60s classic! PMC1267)
