THE BOY HAIRDRESSERS Golden Shower (Rare 1987 3-track 12"
vinyl single, with hype stickered picture sleeve. Released on the
collectable 53rd and 3rd label featuring a pre-Teenage Fanclub Norman
Blake, Raymond McGinley and Francis MacDonald, with Joe McAlinden
[later of Superstar] and Jim Lambie. This release is a prototype of the
sound that Teenage Fanclub were to become well know for with soaring
melodies and Big Star-style slabs of melancholic beauty. The sleeve
shows only minimal wear from storage, while the vinyl has only one or
two inaudible paper scuffs that are nothing more than cosmetic and
remains in superb condition. A fantastic addition to any Indie Pop
collector or Teenage Fanclub completist AGARR12T)
