Released on the collectable 53rd and 3rd label featuring a pre-Teenage Fanclub Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Francis MacDonald, with Joe McAlinden [later of Superstar] and Jim Lambie. This release is a prototype of the sound that Teenage Fanclub were to become well know for with soaring melodies and Big Star-style slabs of melancholic beauty. The sleeve shows only minimal wear from storage, while the vinyl has only one or two inaudible paper scuffs that are nothing more than cosmetic and remains in superb condition. Complete with a black & white promotional sheet and a one-page A4 press release, the labels have the catalogue number handwritten on the A-side, along with a date stamped of 14 October 1987.
