THE NEW YORK CONTEMPORARY FIVE Vol. 1 (Rare 1964 Danish
6-track LP on a red rough textured Sonet label, pressed on
heavyweight 200gram vinyl & recorded on November 15, 1963 at the
Jazzhus Montmartre, Copenhagen, gathering the titans of Freeform
ideas in Jazz; Don Cherry, Archie Shepp, J.C. Moses, John Tchicai &
Don Moore. This copy originates from the private collection of a
former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The
laminated picture sleeve [VG] has a 1" piece of the flipback in the
bottom rightcorner missing, with nice clean panels & just a little paper
chipping & creasing in the corners. The vinyl is stunning Near Mint
