PORTER WAGONER What Ain't To Be, Just Might Happen / Sings His Own (2010 Australian exclusive 30-track digitally remastered CD album - in the early 70s, Porter Wagoner was at an artistic peak and a personal trough. With hit recordings and a popular TV show his career was in full bloom yet dark clouds were gathering over his relationship with Dolly Parton and his private life. Presented here for the very first time on CD are Porter's two greatest LPs from this era, both full of stark autobiographical moments. Most notorious of these is 'The Rubber Room', a 1971 chart hit over-brimming with pain and insanity.
