THE CRYSTALS He's A Rebel (Fantastic 1963 UK first press
12-track deep groove Mono LP, on the plum & silver London
label. Here with his trademark "Wall Of Sound", Phil Spector
engineers a stunning backdrop to the outstanding vocal
quintet's beautiful harmonies. As well as featuring vocal
tracks recorded by Darlene Love & The Blossoms, attributed
to The Crystals, Spector creates his signature 'Heavenly'
sound with the aid of trusty stalwarts, Steve Douglas
[Saxophone], Mike Spencer[Piano] & Hal Blaine [Drums]. The
front laminated flipback picture sleeve is Excellent & worthy
of framing itself (Mod/Bikers eat your heart out!), with just a
little minor age yellowing around the edges & no writing or
tears. The vinyl is super clean & grades Excellent with very
little sign of play other than by the centre hole. A highly
recommended, low mileage, one owner copy HA8120)
