THE FLAMES You've Lost Your Date (1969 UK 7" vinyl single with intact four prong centre - Phew-wee! Another scorcher from the mighty Flames on this Barnett-produced late rocksteady vocal shocker. Venturing onto the B-side, both your ears and dancing feet are treated to Little Girl, a riddim that has meandered throughout reggae's history and was even versioned by his royal highness, King Tubby. This copy was found amongst a massive classical music collection, the only reggae item there [!?], possibly an unwanted Xmas gift, meaning that aside from a light scuff to the A side, the vinyl appears barely [if at all] played in over 50 years; this wax packs just as much punch as Cassius Clay!
