THE MIRACLES City Of Angels (2010 issue UK 11-track digitally
remastered CD album - In 1975, the Miracles, with Billy Griffin
replacing Smokey Robinson on lead vocal, exploded back into the Pop
mainstream with 'Love Machine' – a No. 1 hit across the board, an icon
of dance music. The song was the centerpiece of 'City Of Angels', a
concept album that told the story of two souls searching for love and
fame in Hollywood. In addition to the smash hit, the album's 'Overture'
and 'Night Life' became underground disco classics, while 'Ain't
Nobody Straight In L.A.' spurred controversy. This 2010 edition comes
expanded with a Bonus Instrumental Version of 'Love
Machine'. Complete with a picture booklet containing an essay by soul
music expert David Nathan)

Miracles', 'Cookin' With The Miracles', 'I'll Try Something New', 'The

THE MIRACLES Hi We're The Miracles (Very rare 1963 UK mono 1st
issue of the debut 11-track vinyl LP on the Oriole label, originally
released in the US in 1961, front laminated picture sleeve. What a
debut, includes the wonderful Who's Lovin You [later covered by
Michael Jackson], the big hit 'Shop Around' alongside 'Money' and
more. The sleeve shows some corner wear and light shelf wear overall
with the reverse having a small tear to the upper flip back and a little
scuffing to the bottom flip back, there are some minor spots of
discolouration too. However, none of these imperfections are excessive
and for such a guaranteed party album it's held up to the ravages of
time remarkably well. The vinyl is superb with only light signs of play -
highly recommended and the first copy we have ever seen! PS40044)
